| Post subject: | Corona Virus Crisis - how can we best help? |
This is a world-wide crisis, so I'd like to dedicate this thread to discuss how we can best help. Some of us may have time we can spare to help others, some may have goods or money to donate. The questions is always how we can best help? I know new charities are setup specifically to help people, which ones? I know also many are asking for donations. Should we be donating to charities, or to research facilities that help find a vaccine or cure? Either way, which will help the most people? If you know a good charity, or have some good ideas on how we can help other, please share them here. |

Actually best way it's to isolate the person. About what can be do: donate money to have a vaccine as soon as possible but news tell us minimum 12 month or more. Now a lots of dead people, hospitals without material, infected people rising each day. I believe now the best way to help us is donate money for respirators/breathers, facemasks, gloves, disposable hospital clothes, doctor & nurses. Now militars are mounting tents in big parkings & fair big areas like Ifema Madrid, hotels all closed and used like hospitals not for seriously ills, etc. |

@merlin el mago - I have seen. In your country it is a disaster. Italy even worse. Than it comes Germany and Iran that did not reached a peak. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ I think also its important to stay home and try not to spread it. For us here (younger than 60 and healthy people) probably this virus will not lead to anything fatal, but it's important not to infect others that allready have some illness. |
