Did we just watch the greatest tennis match in history?

I don't aspire to be an expert on tennis history, but surely the final that just went down, it must be up there.

A mere woodcutter could do well at the game. Forrest Gump sweaty toiler.

I missed it, I'll have to watch it. Men's or women's?

Women's was good too. Men's was a display of technical skills, surprising mistakes, shifting initiative, suspense that lasted until the final winning stroke. Worth watching from start to end, I think. They both deserved the title.

The finals of the U.S. Open were a demonstration of the superiority of defense vs. attack. And imo Miuchi deserved the title much more than Fujimura. Is 4-0 a thight result?

Oh wait - you're not talking TT aren't you?

Well, this IS the "OOAK lounge", which IS placed in the "Non-table tennis related" section. I DID explicitly state "tennis".

Read it as you will ...

I missed it completely.. sounded like a very long and tough match though, that went right down the line, so it would have been great to watch!
