Specifically, I am used to no-sensitivity to spin rubber Super Block and so when receiving a side spin ball I just did whatever and it came back fine.

Now with Pogo no such luck. Should I do a heavy push on these balls?

Chop block - topspin. push/punch - backspin. sideswipe - sidespin or backspin.

I never figured out pogo. Didnt like it. 388d-1 is a better budget pip imo.

Superblock-users won't be happy with 388D-1, I guess.

A guy at the club now uses Double Fish 1615 instead of Superblock, he's almost satisfied but he'll try Meteor 813 soon.

Depending on how much under or top is with the sidespin (there is always a little).

If almost pure side, I like to swipe in the direction it's spinning, or do a bump. Bumping must be done gently because if it's just pure side, it will act like a float and sail if hit too hard.

You can chop block, but i think it you need some pace from the opponent. you can swipe in the opposite direction which will scrub off some of the spin, so only do this if your opponent has trouble with less spin.

You can do an LP attack by rolling or brushing upward, but this is low percentage.

And of course, you can always attack it with inverted, especially if it's long. looping sidespin isn't that hard.
