I have been playing RPB with a stable elbow close-table and mid-table. Far-table I have a BH punch+loop which I can place to either corner of the table easily. Problem is in doubles my partner can no way recover quickly enough to play the block-return due to missing timing/contact/stroke. And I too have plenty issues with consistency Far-table if I try to aggressive spinny-loop or just loop-drive because I am soooo used to just punching the ball.

I wanted to fix this far-table buggy RPB so I started trying to swing wide on the BH side similar to XX's FH swing

While I am able to generate much more power and loop-drive, its not at all accurate. I am landing 3 out of 10 balls :-S

I can also generate an aggressive heavy-spin loop ball. But again same consistency problems :-(

And sometimes the timing is very oddly off-balance. Some contact is very very solid power + loop. Other contact is just too thin and too weak with the ball falling exactly at the bottom of the net. It still spins like crazy like 4 - 5 seconds which is probably the max spin I can generate :-D

I want to loop BH like my FH ! Especially far from the table. The stable elbow just doesn't give enough power and brush to give the speed and spin to get the ball loaded to the other side. I think I've seen Xu Fei and Wong-Chung Ting do a similar BH loop but it is very rare and most of their RPB BHs are the close stable-elbow stuff. XX doesn't use RPB much at all which is also something that gets me really really mad

Any ideas ? Any advice ?

Watch shakehand players for away from the table bh looping. It's basically the same thing. Kreanga and schlager are probably the easiest to start with, especially to see the contact point where they hit (see below)

your consistency woes probably has to do with your contact point changing each hit - which is just practice. Try it under controlled feed first, because it's difficult to get the same ball in games - some balls will drop short, some will go long, etc.

Also, if you've gotten your regular rpb stable, forget about your elbow and hit long distance rpbs like a frisbee. Again, watch kreanga.

I'll test it out tonight and see how it goes :-D I hope it works :-)

Update: Wow ! Kreanga has some crazy level of BH ! I cant believe the way he moved He Zhi Wen around ! :-D oh my god ! I tried his very superb BH :-) It really really works ! What a kick ! And it doesn't generate ANY sound on the BH !!!

A Demon loop with so much top-spin ! I would say almost 90% power as my FH ! Dam ! I cant believe it :-)

Really gotta keep practicing this loop. Wide stance. really power swing to meet the ball just below the table surface. Rotating with shoulder as the center pivot, hips, rise up a little and finish with a forearm + wrist snap. Ball sinks in very naturally even into harder chinese rubbers. It looks deceptive as hell. No sound to let the opponent know how much spin got loaded! Ball has a really nice stable arc. Lands pretty much as you would aim it.

Silver !!!! You da man ! Dude! Awesome advice !!!!! I can't thank you enough ! I will keep practicing this! :punch: 8) :)
