Post subject:  Need tips and videos for learning how to block

I've hurt my leg, so I can't drop back deep to chop and run up anymore.

So, I've decided that I should learn to play closer to the table and block. I have inverted with thin sponge on my forehand, and I'm also learning to use it on the backhand side as well.

But I've never done much blocking, so any tips or video would help. I plan to practice it with my robot a few weeks so that I can at least have a decent chance of returning the ball before using it too much in games, but figure it would be best to learn a decent for in the first place. I'm using a quasi Seemiller grip like Jim Weiland, and have long pips on backhand like he does, so I was thinking of try to block using the same style he uses. Any thoughts, tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Since this is the inverted area, and the inverted blocks differently than the pips, I'm looking for help here learning to block with the inverted, and then I plan to use it with my Seemiller grip on both sides, and block on the backhand side alternately with the pips. I'm guessing that will be effective if I can get the ball back reliably and low enough that it isn't too easily smashed.
