The new ball approval list was released on July 3rd 2018, which now includes D40+ balls in orange. Hopefully they'll be released soon, and the other (re-badged) ones will follow. |

Yeehah! One of the venues I habituate has white walls. We have been using white 40+ balls. I'll have to get the committee next week to get these orange balls for when we run out of the white ones, which may be sooner than expected  . At the moment we are using no-name 1 star 40+ balls.

I hope not.. I do like the seamless balls. Even if some people think Sharara owns the patent and makes a profit from them.. Iskandar |

Ugh my office and club both have cream/beige/white walls  So desperately waiting for the local suppliers to start selling ABS plastic orange balls !

I received my order of the orange D40+ balls from AliExpress yesterday. All of the balls were reasonably round, no eggs among them. Using a flashlight to look at the seams showed that the orange balls had the thicker seams like the original white balls whereas according to another forum post, the current batch of white balls have thinner seams. They also felt smoother than the white balls. This was verified during play as they seem to be not as spinny as the white balls. On the drop test, the bounce was virtually identical to the white balls, however, during play, once in awhile they seemed to sound cracked. BTW, for those interested in trying them out, AliExpress has a $10 new user coupon available so you can get 20 balls for about $2. |

Since I am not a new user, I was not able to get the $10 coupon to confirm the rules. $10 off $20 is still good, it's not difficult to find $20 worth of stuff to buy. |
