Post subject:  SANWEI 3-Star ABS 40+ PRO
How are these balls, are they like d40+ or more like nittaku premium 40+, I want a ball that is cheaper and it feels like nittaku premium because it spins really well, but the dhs d40+ is more for speed, if you know any other balls at a decent price tell me please

Give a try to Volant DF 40+. Be sure you have got the newer batches of the balls, June 2018 date of origin and later.
Those newer batches is known been produced under Improved Plastic Formulation, better spin rate, regular bounce.

Sanwei is definitely bouncier than the NP40+ and significantly bouncier than the DHS D40+. On speed aspect, it's slightly slower but spins well. Quite durable as well, a ball lasts me about 2 to 3 weeks (6hrs/week), does not break but becomes slower and less bouncy.

Definitely worth trying, I've been using the Sanwie exclusive for past 6 months, no complaints.

Ordered the V40+, and have been playing with them ...

  • The roundness is fine .. No eggs so far
  • These are seamed balls, but the seam is not easily visible .. Have to hold them up against a light-source, to be able to see the seam
  • The bounce and sound, is quite similar to the DHS D40+ balls ..
  • The bounce is not too high, which I quite like ..
  • The balls seem quite light, as compared to D40+, Sanwei, Xiom, Stag .. A lot of players don't like this ...
  • Can generate more than decent spin with them ... These balls seem LP-friendly, compared to some of the other balls, I've been playing with..
