I got 50 of these for 8.99$

Just tried 20+ for serving, and so far, nothing seems out of place.

The connecting line is visible though

Will update more tomorrow

That's certainly very cheap. If they're not ITTF approved though (can't see them on the list), "3 star" is meaningless.... they could call them 4 star if they wanted to.

I tried it and checked all 50, nothing seems ovalish

I played with it, and I can't tell no difference between these and my DF 3 star

Better than DHS Bi color balls for sure, this one seems more solid and hard

To be sure, "3 star" doesn't really mean anything even if your balls are ITTF approved - you COULD call them 5 star if you want - I don't think there's any specific ITTF rule against it. But 3 stars has for a long time been what companies call their premium balls, the ones that actually have ITTF approval for tournament play.

Huieson has long been known as a "cheap" brand, none of their stuff has ITTF approval, which means that some of it (rubbers for instance) can't be used in "official" tournaments. Doesn't mean everything they sell is junk, of course, but a lot of it is, or can be. On the other hand, there is a lot of stuff sold with the Butterfly (and Stiga/Tibhar/Donic) brand name that is rec-grade, too (and about the same quality as the Huieson stuff) - it's the stuff you find on Amazon, such as the various Addoy, Yuki and Wakaba paddles. The difference is that Butterfly has so much money that even their rec-grade rubbers are ITTF approved and can be used in tournaments! The Huieson balls might indeed be OK.
