Is there really any difference between the D40+ and the DJ40+? Aside from the markings, of course. Igor was making the allegation that is was some kind of Chinese plot to dominate the WC by making them use a ball only their team was familiar with, but you know about Igor and his "information".

I want to make a warning. Some of my fellows have bought a cheap lot of 3* DJ40+ a few months ago and they discovered that they were bad. Fake to be exact. No more details, sorry.

I think they're still making the D40+ balls - looking on AliExpress the only DJ40+ balls I can see are ones with the logos of various tournaments - Olympics, World Tour, Busan World Champs, etc.

Typically USD2 a ball. Only in white. Meanwhile the D40+ are still available in the boxes that feature CNT players. Typically ~USD0.70 a ball. All the orange balls are D40+, and they're still selling the bi-colored balls. Might have to get a pack of DJ40+ to see what they're like.
