Hi guys..
I just did some outrage challange buying xiom axelo assembled with xiom zeta euro on bothside
they are on sale - 60% off !! woooooo.......

As you can see from my signature down below
this is a totally new things to me as I my all-round defensive blade to a killing machine

so...start with the blade
Xiom Axelo is a 3+2carbon blade ..2 hinoki outer ply + 2carbon + thick inner core core(I don't really know what it is)
I have to say that I have to choose up to 7-8 blades in the shop
(as I saw an inconsistency in thickness of the outer ply some blades have one side thicker!!!)
I finally found one with the same thickness and straight wood line on surface

Xiom Axelo is
slightly faster than primorac
as fast as schlager ....very similar according to my friend words(he uses schlager)
slower that sardius

warm-up:from the first hit I faily handle it as it give me a controlful light stroke... what a surprise!! still more to try
top spin: it goes up at a low throw angle which is good to me, spin is nice and speed is great
hard smash: whooooom what was that ?

this blade give u a good control on light stroke but fast as a bullet on a strike
medium feel(even it said soft on the racket)
a very well weight balance between paddle and the grip you won't feel heavy when you lift the blade down which is perfect ,it is easy for me to do swift and frequence change of movement.
beautiful grip
weight approximately 85-87g based on an inaccurate metre lolz

i don't know what more to say

review on rubber and more for this blade continues tomorrow!! or in two days or next week = =!

hope it helps

Blade: Trinity Carbon

BH: Dr N Troublemaker OX
Sounds promising ZoL-, thanks for the review!

I'm a bit surprised to hear about inconsistancy in the blades, as I always thought the quality on these blades was quite good. Could it have been just a variation on the edge of the blade?

I find it pretty hard to believe too. Xiom blades are typically very consistent. They all have weight variations, but there are only a couple blade manufacturers that have the reputation that Xiom has earned in a short time.

Agreed. I've purchased three different Xiom blades and I think their build quality exceeds even that of Butterfly and Andro. They are beautiful.

I suspect the blades being sold so cheaply may be counterfeits or factory rejects.

true, you made a good point
I just realized that I have only looking at the edge as I can't look through the whole plain....

terrible mistake...may be there wasn't a defect at all
