Tibhar Dang seems pretty close. Very different in nature, but similar in purpose and execution...

On a side note also related to the topic, I have the sneaking suspicion that my new Neptune will be very similar to the Feint Long 2 I have on atm.

neos tacky is considerably harder/faster sponge.i found a lot of similarities between tackiness drive and joola air

Isn't Topspin C from Joola sort of similar to Tackiness chop?

Thanks guys, all added!

ilikepie said that "palio blit'z is powerful enough to match T64

and hammond is interchangeable with bryce" i think almana is too along w/ express one (at least all of them are high speed, med spin, lowish throw)

havent heard that hexer equals T05

feint soft is equivalent to any tacky long pip with a thick 25 degree sponge

Tested the Neptune on same blade and compared to Feint Long 2:

-Same chopping ability
-Same level of wobble/distortion/effekt
-Neptune better on blocking
-Feing better at hitting
-Overall very similar and transition would be easy

i've played with all three. coppa tenero is springier than sriver FX and i'd say that spin of sriver FX is little better. on the other hand, cj8000 biotech 36-38 japanese sponge is softer in sense that it bottoms out. you can hardly bottom out sriver FX max. also, sriver FX throw angle is certainly among lower, while palio's is quite high, nothing similar in that aspect also

what i would like is butterfly D13 soft replacement. i've played with for some time somewhere in first half of 2000's, but it got discontinued. it was similar to sriver FX but with little softer topsheet, and it was more durable than even sriver L, not to mention sriver FX. very linear, good spin/speed ratio (speed tad slower than sriver FX). at the time the only thing i would wish is that throw angle of it was little higher (it was similar to srivers)

I didn't realise they discontinued this... I remember using it about 20 years ago... at the time I knew nothing about equipment... it was just something sold in a sports store. :o I guess they could re-release it under a better name... or perhaps they have already?

Anyway... any more suggestions guys... I'm sure we've discussed many of time over the years, but there's too much stuff to search to find them...

Maybe Donic Baracuda as a T05-FX substitute?
Blitz 42,5 degree as a T64-FX?

I have no idea how Sriver G3 and Roundell play, and I don't remember many positive reviews about Roundell either.

I just realise I can print this list and take it along with me to a table tennisshop. I will visit them anyway tomorrow. Maybe they can offer some help to. :)

it was discontinued twice, re-released once (as D13 soft). upon re-release it was recommended as learning rubber. i don't know if it was relaunched as something else, flextra is not it

Yes that would be good, as long as they don't carry just Butterfly, or they'll be reluctant to offer suggests 8)
