HOW DO I KNOW SPEED POTENCIA OF A TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

http://www.guoqiuhui.net/Home/Goods/det ... ds_id/2568
Hardness by Shore durometer is a statical charateristic of the sponge, it has no direct relation with the amount of speed you get on the sponge. For making realistic evaluations of speed potencia of sponge material you need a resiliometer of Shob type.

Be happy

What metrics do you use for this? Are you using the durometer after cutting a corner of the rubber and removing it from the sponge? I don't think your outcomes are in doubt. I'm just curious about your approach. My rubbers date back five years. They're not going to be here for long.

@haggisv

I guess your table sponge hardness is measured Shore A scale, right?

Do you know the hardness of old TSP Curl P1-R?

TIA
Felipe

Hi all,

Just looking into doing to research as to the rubbers. What makes rubbers harder than the other? Is it in the raw materials or production processes etc?

Would appreciate any help

Rubber hardness is a combination of Sponge density and top sheet design and material. here is a good article
