Blade: Stiga Cybershape Carbon
FH: Nittaku Sieger 50
BH: Donic Bluegrip S2
This rubber (Donic Bluegrip S2) has a short throw on topspin. I am not talking about high, medium and low throw arc. I mean by short, is a short topspin so that the ball lands right after the net especially on loop or topspin. Therefore this rubber is great for backhand. Stiff inner carbon blade is recommended for a short throw. I bought it to try it for my forehand but now I am using it on backhand. My forehand rubber is a Nittaku Sieger 50. On a Stiga cybershape carbon it seems to have a shorter throw than a Butterfly Viscaria Alc. Any comment, any clarification? Thanks.

If your topspin shot lands short that means the rubber is slow. Pairing it with a faster blade would help making your topspin shot lands closer to the baseline.

What you could be referring to is short arc which is typical of very grippy hard rubbers and a key characteristic of Tenergy 05 and the new generation tacky tensors. When looping The initial throw is fairly high but the ball then tends to dip down fairly quickly and then kick off the table.

Short is high throw. Low throw is long. I personally prefer low (long) throw because it is more linear and precise especially in short game.
