My coach bought me some table tennis shoes (radial 050) when i started playing (butterfly of course) :P and they're about to be a bit too small for me, and i dont really like those shoes. I just bought new indoor soccer or football shoes and i think they will work just fine for me. Do u think i should stick and get new radial 050 shoes or should i just wear my indoor soccer shoes as table tennis shoes. They're pretty light too (soccer shoes) and have just as much grip.

thkz :D :D

I played with my indoor soccer shoes, and it wasn't a problem. However, I just bought a set of stiga shoes, and they are much, much better then the pumas I was playing with.

Methinks the shoes must be comfortable and offer the support you need. If your ankles are fine with indoor shoes...why not keep them?

Surely you wouldn't like too constrictive shoes, yes? :D

I stay by my opinion: Yonex badminton shoes are the best!

I use mizuno wave drive 3 these days.

Better than the yonex for microsteps.

Just avoid running shoes, I can't stress this enough. If you go side to side with them, you can twist your ankles easy really bad with them.

I actually tried ninja tabi shoes & it feels great  ~!!!

Adidas makes really good table tennis shoes. The older you get, the more important shoe choice becomes.

Agreed, we older people need more impact absorbing shoes.

Any indoor volley ball, raquetball shoes work well. I always go with the Asic Rockets or Asics Gel 1120v

come in all fancy colors or plain ole white with black. I myself love the red! :)

the pumas are also really nice :)

I use the standard Yasaka gratien shoe commonly available in Sydney. Great pair of shoes I must say - perfectly happy with it.

I busted my achilles in Dawei Saviga's and I always wonder if the shoes contributed by the low sides and back reducing balance and support. So now I'm wearing Reeboks!
