Are your clubmates so uptight that they won't play against you if you use a green and blue bat even if it's for fun?

For this certain victum red/green will mean the same color, so yeah that would be a problem. The rest of the clubmembers wouldn't care but aren't color blind ;)

Ah...

Waiting until they're "legal" won't work, though, since one sheet will have to be black.. Incidentally, a lot of red/green colorblind people can actually tell red and green apart a lot of the time (they come out as different shades of grey). I had a friend who was colorblind but never realized it until he came across one of those colorblind tests with the numbers in the circles. This was at some point in high school. 7

Guess I'll have to give up on the idea then. Oh well I'll think of something else someday

On a sidenote. The idea of matching the color of the blade with the outfit s still nice imho... looking at the video

The three more colours, other than black, ITTF gonna enact for competitive play. The appropriate amendments to the Rule 2.4 should be made in the year 2021.

/Be happy/.

Keep the dress seven years and it will come back into style. Nothing new about the colours as now selected by ITTF. We had had those four colours --red, black, green, blue, -- as catalogue choice for STIGA Mark V rubber, back in 1980's

The reason for different colours? of course, MONEY,...more money for the ITTF ,.... period.

What's next ? the balls,..haha,..you will see different colours,...or what's next? the net,... changing some material so everybody pays for it,... what´s next? the colour of the table,..so everybody plays with the same conditions,... so,..buy new balls, new nets, new tables,... and the Ittf officials, richer ,.... period

NO UGLY COLORATION, PLEASE.
ITTF been always using Konica Minolta CM-A101W spectrophotometer, Japanese production, a complex device to evaluate table tennis rubber-sheet colours. The Konica device does offer no GLOSS COMPENSATION function, hence all the glossier rubbers would pass the colometrical tests smoothly even if coloured in ugly brown pallete.
Do we need those fancy rubbers with reddish, brownish, faded face ??

So now, I am always insisting on using the superior Chinese products that is mostly rigged with the Gloss Compensation feature. The very useful feature for us to get a true colometrical result.

Wow. Octopus has made it to Eacheng:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000403998621.html

They claim it's got "German Tension Sponge". Only three colors under this listing, but here are the missing ones:

Still cheaper at XVT however.

Can't remember them saying anything about "German Tension Sponge" the last time I looked...
