I use a Yasaka Sweden Classic as a 2nd setup and I am quite sure & agree with what BRS said: limba-limba-ayous-limba-limba. Great blade with soft feel and excellent control. True Classic!

Thought it might have been here viewtopic.php?f=43&t=7194 but it doesn't appear to be. My understanding is that its nearly identical to the Donic Appelgren Allplay. |

The Yasaka Sweden Extra has a bit more oomph so may suit better for chopping whilst still offering good control as the YSC

I think 'classic' = there are a hell of a lot of blades with almost the same construction. Give or take .5 mm here and there for more 'oomph' or more flex. Some of those doods from Sweden may have been involved in that epoch I'd say.  The Donic allplay was my second choice. Something about the look of the CLassic made it worth the extra bucks. And I think it is generally thinner/lighter. And yes as for the 'second' blade it will either be it or my first blade. Nothing wrong with my Grubba variant. But I must admit like to have to 2 very similar blades at least with very similar rubbers to compare slight differences in rubbers too. As for control, I don't always think these types of blades actually are for my style. Sure would be with short pips or LP but attacking with inverted with monstrously big shots (dwelly = softish flexy) is one more thing to deal with... compared to an all-round thin carbon blade that generally plays slowly but similar enough in its stiffness and large similar 'sweet spot'. These days I think I am just chasing ridiculous amounts of spin at the table with serves and on far-away loops. Tacky rubber gets you so far, but adding maximum dwell in the blade takes you to insanity.
