Yes. I just started. I'll try to get some spectacular curled spot and modify the construction so that I can use the veneers on top of simple ply wood.

The blade by the way is my latest model "Fette Keule" (=> fat mace).

I was thinking "pretty, but not very interesting" until the part where you slide the top to take it off. And then I thought, wow.. very interesting indeed! What's the deal with the second case in the video, though? That one doesn't slide to close.

I still don't get it. On the video, the first box opens when you slide the top a small amount. The second box just opens by lifting the lid. How does it work - magnets? Magnets would be a nice idea, they'd stick as long as they're aligned, once you slide the top of the box they're no longer aligned and then the top just lifts off.

That new one is pretty.
