Supposedly H3 works pretty well. Kinda slowish to begin with. Remember, Joo chops with Tenergy.. so ANY rubber should work for the rest of us. Iskandar |

If you only want to use it for chopping, the most important thing is the sponge thickness. The less sponge the better chopping but the worse looping. Globe 999 would be a classic and cheap chopping rubber. I know very high level choppers that use it. Friendship 729 Higher Chop is also good (only the 1.2 chop version for chopping). Geospin Tacky 1.5 would also work, I suppose. |

When I just about switched to LPs, I was mulling-over the idea of using a chop-friendly inverted rubber on the other side. So, I asked a high-ranked doubled inverted chopper, who plays at a local club, I visit occasionally, and he recommended the following : -
...with sponge thickness between 1.5mm - 1.9mm |

...with sponge thickness between 1.5mm - 1.9mm Er.. he wants CHEAP. The above is NOT cheap. So what's cheap and available with thin sponge? Not terribly much. Batwings can be had with 1.5mm sponge. There's the 729 Super FX with large pore sponge (down to 1.0mm). There's KTL Green Dragon (down to 1.5mm). Gambler Mek-Tek comes in 1.5. There are probably a few others but I can't be bothered to go look them up.. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32388811864.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1408848540.html https://www.zeropong.com/gambler-pips-i ... toro-p-506 Iskandar |

Yes, he did mention the word cheap, but also mentioned a budget of $25-$30 ... With the exception of Tenergy, I think, most rubbers I've mentioned, fit within that range.. |

Thanks Guys, I decided to take a Stiga Chop and Drive, cost me 20$, and I enjoyed it much, Really spinny in chops, and no one can beat me, mainly because I am the only Jpen/Defensive Player in my area |
