Blade: DHS PG7
FH: DHS 651
BH: 1 sided (Red covering)
So I am going to go to my first tournament, and there is this problem where I need both of blade side being black and red, I am a 1 sided Jpen, and my FH is red, so my BH must be black, I don't want to spray paint my BH black, but using paper isn't effective, as my sweat tears them off quickly.

I don't want a BH rubber though, Because my FH Rubber is insanely heavy, (63g cutted) and my blade is 98g (I made a custom 10.5mm)

Any more weight and my FH/TPB is noticeably much slower

Get some of that vinyl decal material. I've been using the fake "carbon fiber" decal stuff when making up penhold bats for friends. Look in auto supply stores, or there's always AliExpress.

One day, when parking the car for breakfast, I saw a BMW totally covered in this stuff. UGLY!!!

GLODEN..

I suppose the other colors might make good looking edge tape... Just a pain to strip it and no padding.

Iskandar's option is pretty bling. I just use colored wall paper for red or PVC tape (wide rolls) for black.

Don't know about "bling", it's fairly cheap. It's also light, thin, and stays on. And you don't really see the "carbon fibers" unless you look closely. I suppose you could also pull people's legs with it..

excuse me, I am also a 1 sided Jpen.
And I would like to know why not paint it with a black acrylic paint spray?
Does the property of the wood change? And how do professionals do?
Thank you!

BEWARE OF THE GLOSSY THINGS. ..

BLACK and RED is the only option for the side of racket not intended for playing with.
Again, not all materials would comply with the glossiness limits.

Be happy.

Beware of Igor Novichok. He often posts things which are false or which have little to do with what is being discussed.

Ignorance of the Law makes no excuse.
My very sincere compassion for our dear comrade Iskandar, he seems to be fully unaware of the Table Tennis Law currently effective for all competitive players.
Quote:
2.4.6
The surface of the covering material on a side of the blade, or of a side of the blade if it is left uncovered, shall be matt, bright red on one side and black on the other.

Be happy
