Hi there, does anyone know an european store where I can buy this blade? (DHS 08x FL)
Most stores have it out of stock, but i search only english websites.
I tend to avoid purchasing it from aliexpress, because of duplicates.

Thanks!

It’s Out Of Stock and I emailed tt11 and they kindly replied that they will not restock in near future.

Thanks, I found also this lithuanian site: https://topsas.lt/produktas/classic-08x/?lang=en maybe I will order it from them..

I’m shocked this has not been made available in ST handle.

Seriously what are the ppl at DHS doing? Is there not a defensive advisor that can simply raise the point what the overwhelming handle preference for choppers has and will always continue to be? Koji will be grinning from ear to ear no doubt.

Hi there, there is ST handle here: https://tt-store.eu/blades/dhs-1/dhs-08-x
But I prefer FL.
Cheers!

Blade: DHS Fang Bo carbon
FH: Xiom Omega 7 china guang
BH: Butterfly Feint Long 3
Hi, I played with DHS 08x for a few months, coming from diode v so I can give you my impressions.
It feels like a fast chopping blade but only when attacking, it offers a good control when chopping but keep in mind that it is head heavy so may it can have a strange feeling if you are not used to it, the main difference with diode is the speed, even tough diode is pretty fast, the 08 gas carbon in it and the shots feel like activated by it, but in chopping there isn't a real difference in my opinion.
I now switched to DHS Fang Bo B2 to have more speed and a better feeling but I would totally recommend this blade.
I leave you here two of my matches with 08x, on my channel you can find more.

Hi @dondyThaChopper , I actually saw your channel (and all matches) before buying the blade. I found out about it from your videos description and I like your style.
Now I played with it 10 hours and it really feels great. Coming from VKM + C&F3 + D09c, now the FH is really fast and the combination with D09c is better than VKM, opponents say is strange (maybe because d09c has lower throw than what they are used to).
I am amateur, trying to improve chop technique, I am also able (if needed) to chop with FH.
DHS 08x really feels easy to chop (bh + fh), but inner carbon activates at power top-spin making a great attack weapon.
I became a fan of DHS, I am thinking in 1-2 months to change D09c with DHS H8-80.
I got the blade 89g, but it needs sealing, and I made it 90g.
DHS 08x should be an option for all modern defenders!

edit1: I like it head-heavy, it helps me attack better with fh.

Played with this blade few sessions. Much less control compare to Defplay Senso. Not sure why people say its head heavy ... I didn't feel it head heavy. Maybe just a bit ..

I think this is because of the thin handle, DHS style. If you play thin sponge pips or 1.5mm inverted, there is no difference.

Played with this blade more. You was right handle is thin and also short. Feels like made for kids. Much shorter then Defplay

After 60 hours of play/ training with DHS 08X, I went back to Victas Koji Matsushita, and I realized that chops were more controlled, backspin was higher, and my FH strokes improved (maybe also due to training), but the idea is that VKM felt way better for my AMATEUR skills than DHS. The feeling, the vibrations.

In the end I think that DHS handle was not for me.
Clearly is a very good blade maybe for advanced players.

I keep DHS 08x blade + Victas P4 + DHS 3-50 as my 2nd setup, sometimes using it for fun.
Maybe in the future I will test some Short Pips on it.
