Got the new DHS 08 blade the past week , I try to upload the pictures but I have issue resizing it, it’s a 5 piles with 2 layer of carbon, it’s on the lighter side, under 90 grams, it’s has that ping and crispy feel, kinda like my JHS but not as stiff. Great control on chops , because of the carbon you can put a point away with your FH, I can see why the CNT choppers are going to this blade ,

Do you mean the 08x blade? The only one I could find on their website.
Is it common these days for defenders to use off- blades? Who do you say is using it?

It's off- though. But yeah they write that the head is slightly bigger on tt11. And it's probably around 6 mm I would imagine.

You guys are correct, it’s a 08X , I have been using a JSH blade probably the past 7-8 years, seen they are not making it anymore, been trying to find a replacement, most blades on the market doesn’t have that crispy feel with good speed . The 08x is not in anyway a replacement of the JSH but it does have that crispy feel that I like , not as fast but faster then the Diode , great quality, 2 layer of carbon , I had to play with more sponge on the pips because it was slower then JSH, omg what a good decision , even more spin on chops , it lands a little longer , I play with D05 on the FH now I can go back playing with H3 because of the lighter weight , I will give it a few more week but I think it’s a winner

Have you checked the new Diode V?
Been testing Diode (95g) vs VKMO (95-96g) side by side... same rubbers. Liking it so far for its speed. It's VERY close to the JSH blade, both speed and flex. Maybe it's a tad slower but honestly I can't tell...not feeling that much difference. Pips on Diode feel FAST.

I have a VKMO , it’s as fast but it doesn’t have a feel that I get from JSH blade , I thought the Diode was supposed to be a close replacement but I actually didn’t like that at all , it was something in between the Hardraw Shield and JSH , the pips is going to be ok , wanted something faster for the FH , which I think the 08 has , IMOP

Blade: diode v
FH: vega asia
BH: p4 0.5
Got the blade yesterday and hit some balls with the robot, my early impresions are:
- It's like a inner carbon version of the VKMS with a very thin carbon layers and what you would expect from it: a little bit softer, slower, more flexible, more linear speed (less kick on hard impacts)
- The handle is very thin and light (maybe the same as the pg7). The blade feels very head heavy unless you play OX
- Feel is good from the inner carbon: solid, low vibrations but good ball feedback, large sweet spot
- With my very limited play I think it sits as far as speed/hardness/flexible between the chen weixing and the vkms: VKM < CWX < 08X < VKMS < VKMO < JSH

Hi there, does anyone know an european store where I can buy this blade? (DHS 08x FL)
Most stores have it out of stock, but i search only english websites.
I tend to avoid purchasing it from aliexpress, because of duplicates.

Thanks!

I’m shocked this has not been made available in ST handle.

Seriously what are the ppl at DHS doing? Is there not a defensive advisor that can simply raise the point what the overwhelming handle preference for choppers has and will always continue to be? Koji will be grinning from ear to ear no doubt.
