Sweden Open 2019
For this given event, novelty tables from STIGA with an improved kinetic traction CoF=0.25 were present for the first time. The Japanese young hopeful MIMA Ito gained a lot of benefit by those grippy tables, beating down all the Chinese in women's single competitions. The ball was bouncing more upwards and got decelerated upon impact onto the table's top, thus damped Chinese attacking zeal badly. Chinese players would always favour the DHS Rainbow "glossy" tables with reduced traction CoF=0.12

TO BE NOTED: SAN EI "olympic" tables are now reported to yield an optimum frictionality about 0.20. Not good for the Chinese fervent attackers, sorry.
