Has anyone try this newer Victas rubber , I saw a video on YouTube but it was all in Japanese which I don’t understand, but it seems to be like another D09C or Chinese rubber, it was able to pick up the ball and stick to in for a bit . I also has a lighter blue sponge, any info would help, TIA

The 'triple' would be a rubber from the TSP 'triple' series, which had a tacky topsheet. The 'double extra' is a term used by Victas for an extra hard sponge, used on many of the new Victas rubbers, the V15 Extra probably the most popular and well known.

Many of the popular TSP rubbers will be re-released as Victas rubbers, while the TSP rubbers will be discontinued (but will remain on the LARC for 5 years according to TSP/Victas so they will remain approved). Even the popular TSP Curl series will be replaced by the new Victas Curl series, which will be identical in performance, just rebranded.

I'd be keen to try this rubber...didn't realise it had been released.

The way that video looked , and the ball sticking to the rubber like that I 100% want to give it a try , half the price of the D09C.
It said the sponge is hard , does anyone know if it the same as D09C and H3 39 degrees??TIA

P1 = P1r, P2= P2,... P5 = Curl PH

I am currently toying with similar rubbers from Yasaka -- Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard. I am pretty sure the new Victas Triple Extra and Triple Double Extra (imho, dumb name :?: ) are direct competitors to D09C and the new Rakza Z rubbers. There are also similar sticky/tensor rubbers released from Tibhar and Donic.

Last couple days been testing Rakza Z Extra Hard on my forehand.... The regular Rakza Z was great in the spin department, but a bit slow, even boosted. I may give the Triple Double Extra a try in a couple months when I order more rubbers but I anticipate it to be extremely similar to the Rakza Z Extra Hard - same hardness (57), sticky, tensor... I can't imagine it playing very different.

Ah... I see Rakza Z and Z Extra Hard on Shopee. RM160 (USD40) instead of about RM130 (USD33) for Rakza 7. Maybe I'll spring for a sheet, I have a policy of never buying the same (expensive) sheet twice. But then again ever since that sheet of Tenergy 05 I haven't had the desire to try anything expensive, since it was such a let-down... :lol: What are the Tibhar and Donic equivalents? Is Tibhar going to release a new tacky Evolution? I do see a "Tacky Power", but that's a RM50 (USD13) rubber, so it's probably just a Chinese sheet.

FAREWELL and SORRY MY BABY,

RETAIL prices for all chinese rubber products got up greatly. It comes to reason, considering the most recent facts that ITTF charged new approval fees a lot.

Lets say "Farewell" to all the dirty cheap rubber products we used to get from Chinese shops in plenty. Farewell.
