Hi! Just wanted to know if this is a custom bat or pre-made. Wasn't able to find any info on google.

There's some blue ribbon rubber mentions but the links/ebay are gone.

Just wanted to get some info. Is this rare?

Blue Ribbon isn't listed in the LARC:

https://equipments.ittf.com/#/equipment ... _coverings

It's either old, and has been removed, or is has never been an ITTF-approved rubber, so my guess is that's a pre-made. Funny because all of Butterfly's pre-made rubbers (Addoy, Yuki, Wakaba, etc.) ARE listed in the LARC.

Rubber does have JTTA marking on it though which i thought was a requirement for comp in Japan. At least for the blade, not sure about rubbers.

Looks like an ITTF logo above the JTTAA logo (on the other side of the line) to my eyes.

How old is the racket? If it's > 10 years, Nittaku may have stopped paying the fee to keep the rubber on the LARC.

The fact that "Blue Ribbon" is on the rubber and the handle has literally a blue ribbon hints to a premade bat for sure.
Also, several "Blue Ribbon" bats can be found online in a "Nittaku Blue Ribbon" branded plastic bag, which also makes it look pre-made (Blades don't come in such bags), e.g.:
https://picclick.com/Nittaku-Blue-Ribbo ... 20425.html
https://www.kaidee.com/product-359747946
This one also has "Blue Ribbon" on the handle:

But yes, the rubber surely used to be on the LARC, Nittaku wouldn't have put the ITTF Logo there otherwise.

Where's the "blue ribbon" on the handle? Do you mean the blue-grey-white stripe?

I agree that it's very likely a pre-made. Time to go check the nittaku website again, and Japanese retailers.
