Haven't played with either but I own several 1 ply Hinoki blades mostly 9mm.

Expect the Palio 8603 to be extremely stiff with low control. It's already thick at 8.2mm which would be stiff for even pure wood blades but it had to be Carbon too.

As for the Yinhe 982 it'll play just like any other 1 ply Hinoki blade regardless of quality. Off to Off+ speed but soft feel and high amount of control. At 8.8mm it'll have very very slightly more flex and control compared to the standard 9mm and way more compared to the current modern ones at 10mm and up.
I own both 1 ply Hinoki blades sold separately and low grade 1 ply Hinoki blades taken from Premade Hobbybats and blade finish aside, they don't feel all that different.

any news on which one you got? I got the palio one and it is as the guy said, very stiff and poor control. I should've gotten the yinhe one
