Blade: Donic defplay senso v3
I am using a Donic defplay senso blade and I'm looking for a much slower blade. I don't really like the vibration in the blade and I wonder if there are defensive slower blades that don't vibrate. I am fine with a blade that will have vibration but as long as its slower than the defplay senso. I would prefer a blade that is quite durable so it survives from accidental hits to the table, but then again if the blade is very controllable, slow, and with great feeling but fragile then I don't mind. From the following list of blades which one is the slowest and is best only for chopping. The one that I heard is slow is the TSP Balsa 2.5. ( thinking of getting it) As for the forehand rubber I'm thinking of getting Sauer Troger Secret Flow 1.5 mm and for backhand LP TSP Curl P-1R 1.0mm If you can recommend also a forehand chopping rubber that is very slow and with lots of control for chopping please tell me, and for LP too. Please only recommend me blades and rubbers that are on this site tabletennis11 because I will be ordering from there.
Blades:
1. TSP Balsa 2.5
2. Joola Toni Hold White Spot
3. Victas Koji Matsushita Defensive
4. Stiga Defensive Classic
5.Nittaku Shake Defence
6.Dr.Neubauer Barricade
7. Tibhar CO-S-3 Defence ST
8. TSP Black Balsa 3.0
9. Andro Wanokiwami Midori Def
10. Donic Defplay Classic V3

Any other blades you know, please let me know ( only that are on tabletennis11 )

Hi yellow leaf, I believe Balsa 2.5 is the slowest on your list and I haven't seen anything slower, very good for chopping even with ox lp due to the soft feel.I previously used Black balsa 3 which is a harder feel and it's difficult to find one above 60-62 g which means too much vibration and flex.
I managed to find balsa 2.5 at 71g at pingmaster and the flex is perfect for me,the advantage of these blades
Is the slowness for chopping, serve return and touch play etc but with a fast fhand rubber very nice topspin offence.I notice there is good isolation between fhand and backhand and fast rubber doesn't speed pips up like Defplay

Thanks for the reply Dazzler. Would a thin inverted rubber pair well with the tsp balsa 2.5? I see that you're using tenergy 05. I'm not looking to attack, I just want to chop. What rubber and thickness would you recommend for forehand? I found this rubber Tibhar Super Defense 40 which has the option of choosing a 0.5 sponge. The thinnest I've played with was a globe 999 in 1.0mm. Also for the LP I would like to order an ox sheet, but after it will wear out, I will have to order a new sheet and I've never glued an ox sheet by myself so I just want to get a 1.0mm lp.

There is Juic 999 Defence, 1.0, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.00 mm. It's tacky. Slower than Sauer Troger Secret Flow and as ''spinny'' as.

Maybe Reactor Ckylin, if you can get it in thin sponge (I haven't seen it yet). That's the slowest inverted rubber I've ever come across in recent years, quite unusable for me. Another possibility is the LKT/KTL (can never remember what it's supposed to be these days) XP/XT series - some of the more expensive options are available in thin sponge. If you don't mind something expensive - there's Butterfly Tackiness Chop.

I used to use tackiness c 1.1 which worked well with celluloid, not sure how it would be with abs ball.
Tibhar Varispin is tacky very spinny and slow as hell in 1.2 with heavy underspin, maybe too slow on balsa 2 5,I've only used Tenergy 05 which chops surprisingly well in1.7 thickness on this blade
Some Vetts I know use the secret Flow rubber which seems ok

Victas 401 is a bit faster than 1.5 Secret Flow.

I am not sure if an extremely slow combo is better if you play away from the table. You will have to use much more own forward force and larger strokes to pass the net. IMO it will reduce consistency and recovery to next balls.
