It follows from the Rule 2.4.5 that if the letterings comes out visible throght rubber, it will invalidate your playing racket.
ITTF T4 specific annotation is to make the Rule more clear and easy for you to understand.

this would seem to be a problem if one plays double sided OX, but that's rare, even a Yinhe T9 has the OX attached to the non-painted side

This post has triggered my impulsive buying for a T9, but sadly it's carbon and that's not a feeling I particularly enjoy, especially on cheaper blades
