I guess I gotta spend the money on some new ones in October now hahaha

On a side note, I wonder how being green would affect it. Since black is a bit softer and less reversal (although minor) how would the green be hmm :^)

I had the same thoughts, and I'm keen to try it as well. I suspect the green might be similar to red, while the black will be a little slower and tackier. If the green is similar to red, I think I'll use it... seems cool to have a green rubber like 'grass'. :D

Good news to hear.
Producing LP rubbers in green is our written directive for all rubber manufacturers. Looks nice, similarly to toxic creepers.

Likewise, ITTF will stop auithorization of newly developed rubbers of LP type in red and black. All the LP rubbers intended for authorization will have to come solely in pink.

I kind of have an idea why you chose pink for Long Pips. (I am sorry you said ITTF did)

But here today you say LP is green

Also you say “our” “written directive”

You always say things like this like “our” or “ITTF” or “Panel of experts” etc but I never understood who these people are & what are their names.
All this is also very confusing to me at many levels.
First of all I am not sure how rubber color additions was a regulation change. If I am not mistaken, I thought the two color rule required approval from 75% general council of nations.
Secondly, someone asked you what a player can use if they wanted to use anti on one side & long pips on the others side. Since you said black & red is valid only for LP & Anti till stock is depleted , that leaves only green for LP & Blue for anti. But new "rule" say one side MUST be black. What do they do now ?

Of course all this assuming your "written directive" is like a "rule" but without 75% vote of General Council of nations of ITTF

IMO you are "trying to hard" to understand Igor posts. I take them as satire or delusion and that is what they are worth...

That said, while I feel like I have tried the vast majority of LP rubbers at one time or another, I have never tried Grass-mainly because of the price and secondarily because I think one can adjust to play with almost any LP with training and effort. But GREEN? I am tempted...depending on the shade of green.

Also you say “our” “written directive”

I've done some simple spin sensitivity tests a la "geblock tt" and it feels extremely similar as the red sheet with a small disclaimer that I've used my two sheets of red for about 1+ year. It'll be fun to see it in action at practice tomorrow.
