I often notice that when I take my racket out of my soft case, the OX pips rubber has shifted a bit due to being pressed up against other things in my bag, so I'm looking for a case to hold two paddles that has this (not impossible, I hope?) combo of characteristics:

1. Fits two paddles.
2. Is very light
3. Has enough structure so that it doesn't get smushed or pressed inside my bag.

The ideal would be something made out of a soft material (and, therefore, would be light) but that has a hard plastic insert or frame of some sort to let it retain its structure.

Maybe this one?

I have a Joola hard case, made for 2 bats, and 3 balls, which would probably meet your specifications. It is pretty small, considering. I think there used to be multiple versions from different brands, but may have been discontinued. I have found a Yasaka branded version on Aliexpress, at about £15, which seems to be about the price I paid.

It used to be easily available on Amazon. Like this but rectangular https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Joola-Trox-C ... OKR6K&th=1

Similar to, but not identical https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002 ... 5782%22%7D

This one, right? https://m.aliexpress.com/item/329472510 ... 9401a28518

It's light weight?

That's the one. Seems light to me, certainly much lighter than one of the aluminium type, and no more heavy than many soft cases. Mine has never presented me with any issues, protects the bats and balls. Still in use, but I often have to take 4 bats with me, and this is strictly limited to 2, so I don't use it so much now. Amazon package dimensions are ‎27.8 x 19.4 x 5 cm; 299.37 Grams

Hi TraditionalTradesman, as recommended by darucla, I've found the Joola case to be excellent. I've had mine since 2017. Rather than write a long review, it was easier to make this short video for you to demonstrate the case. I hope it helps.

As an aside, I can never understand why people don't take time to chose and select a good quality case for their setups. It's strange players will spend upwards of £55 ($70+) for one sheet of Tenergy which will last approximately 2-4 months depending on standard and number of times you play, but won't spend £25 on a case which can last years, to protect their complete setup.
