As far as I know, there are 6 types of table tennis handles. Is there any advantage of changing the handle?
I prefer the Flared handle, Legend type of Stiga.

    Flared
    Chinese penhold
    UTCAN
    Korean Penhold
    ELCON
    Round Straight

Most flared handles are too thin near the neck of blade. I prefer Straight handle and I use overgrip tape in case the handle is too thin (most handles are too thin for a typical european palm)

I've always used flared, it just feels most comfortable to me.

I'm with Omut on this. Straight handle whenever it is an option. Conical handle (which used to be available for some blades, but rarely seen now) also works for me. Rather than a smoothly rounded (elliptic) profile, I prefer it slightly squared (superelliptic).

For me, flared handles have an annoying "pressure point" on the edge of the hand, and twiddling is not as fast/accurate. Sweaty palms sometimes, and several players have argued that this is an important reason to go with flared handle. Still, my bats are rarely airborne.

Also a closet penhold player, but not to the level that I find any advantage in using a PH handle. SH handle is fine.

Over my many years of playing, I have alternated between flared and straight handles. A few months ago I bought a Stiga Allround Classic with the anatomical handle, and it is my favorite of all time!

My''Graal'' is Butterfly Hadrawshield straight handle...
And my ''King Solomun's mines'' : Handle of Butterfly Matsushita Powerdefence.

Getting more advantage with a different handle? It needs to play with different kind of handles and observe. Then one can find the right handle type for yourself.
Everybody is unique.

Any love for anatomic handle?

I have an old (20 or 30 years old) Nittaku carbon blade that I have been using that has an anatomic handle.

Yes yes yes. Anatomic handles feel great.
Especially if they are quite thick.

Handles that are slightly flared instead of completely straight or flared are also nice if thick enough.
Also found like some other members that flared handles are too thin. Never really played with straight handles.

I also found these types of handles with ridges a while ago.

Do they actually have any benefits?

My preferred handle is flared  which I now use but have used straight handles in the past.

Straight all day for me. Some Asian made blades only come in flared so you don't have much choice if you want to use those. I have used them without problem but I pick straight whenever I have the option.

It is also said that flared favors the forehand side and straight is best for forehand to backhand transitions.

"Anatomic" is the worst one for me because it limits where you can place your fingers, which I find anything but anatomic... I don't see how that shape can possibly work with a variety of hands sizes and grip types.
