To begin with, the term of "tensor" is a patented name solely owned by ESN GmbH. The analogue terms used by other manufacturers are "high resilience sponge" and "high tension rubber". Chinese players in general don't favour tensors for some specific reasons, nor Chinese produce those domestically. Making rubbers with the trampoline effect (aka tensors) is a very complex technology that implies a production stage of rubber vulcanization under high pressure of 350 atm. Syntetic polybutadiene is the main material for tensors.

GD is the only factory to produce the high-resilience products in mainland China. They followed up the famous rubber formulation as developed by an American chemist back in 1964. They settled to supply their products abroad only, no supply inside China.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The best tensor rubbers should display 40 units and above in the Schob resilience test.

What are these "high-resilience products". I've tried a lot of GD rubber, none really felt special, nothing like 'glue effect' or Tensor rubbers.

Thanks

Hi,

What about Yinhe's MAX TENSE technology, used in rubber like Moon Speed Pro, Big Dipper, etc..

Nothing special as far as I know...some are not bad rubbers, both nothing like a 'Tensor' feel.
