No, I did not review this blade, Hedgehog did on his website and it is a long, but very complete one. (Kinda wish he would post more here, but he does have a life, maybe a wife, a club, probably a job/occupation, and major traffic to deal with. (Heck, I got issues as well, but manage to post at least once a day) His club also has a TT equipment testing/analysing service company that looks cool. His website is in Korean, but look for the English section on the left or the English link to the Strad review. Skippy will be happy to check it out. I think this is the same site (could be wrong - it was some Korean site) where I was ROFLMAO til I couldn't stand it any longer for hours over the kissing up review of Bryce Speed (in Korean), but this English review of the Strad is on point and worth bringing up.

http://cafe.daum.net/hhtabletennis

Go to the site and click through to the review. Wow, that rhymed, and i can't spell for crap.

To help the review, here's a couple of pictures. Hopefully someone makes a good write-up.

I'm getting another Viscaria soon, but from prior experience -- it's slower and flexier, but some odd reason, I like the ball feel far more with Viscaria. The sweet spot also seems a bit off than where I usually hit the ball. Must be the head shape.

Hi Yuzuki, could you please tell me if TBS is similar to Viscaria or is Viscaria stiffer and faster than TBS..??Thanks.

Yuzuki & Baal posting about the Viscaria in a Strat thread... Viscaria must be one bad-ass of a blade. Too bad I didn't start my TT career earlier.

Edit: I cant spell the name of the blade to save my life.

It's similar, but I think that the Viscaria is a bit more flexier and a bit more bouncier than the TBS. The TBS...feels very stable.

Der, are you able to bring up the English Stradivarius review in Hedgehog's website? I can't seem to find it anymore.

They're usually compared against each other because they are pretty similar. Viscaria is a bad-ass blade.

Hello again, Der, I remember that back then when you posted this review, I was able to read it (in English) -- now, it seems that the English review is hidden behind a forum of sorts? The site seems to ask a log-in for the English version.

You're right. Sure does ask for Daum Login. Might have to ask hedgehog to post it here. He doesn't mind a link, but posting the article is copyright stuff.

Got an email from hedgehog. He sez there is a new version of the STRAD (which makes his detailed review kinda outdated) and he plans on doing a new review. He may make a simplified version of it and post to the OOAK forum.

Yes, I think what I got is the new version. If you noticed, Xiom dropped the 'designed by Michael Schneider, Meister' logo on the blade face and replaced it their blade characteristics chart. I have no idea what other things changed with this new version, though.
