I found this guy in the hungarian junior open.

I cant link the video but the way to find it:

http://www.ittf.com/itTV/ ---> JUNIOR EVENTS ---> Joola Hungarian Junior Open

He has really got a style, it seems he can do everything. Matches against Do Phuong Nam(hungarian like me) and Tamás Lakatos(Olimpic 3. place) are awesome!

I would be interested what equipment does he use. Maybe short pimple on bh? Any idea?

I never cease to be impressed by that type of style and talent. Why bother watching someone hugging the table trying to block back everything with one side of the paddle when you can watch an exciting match like this. I'm so glad that there are young players out there keeping this style of play alive. I only wish there were more.

It is possible that there are some more players like him... It's difficult to find them while they are young... but I know Muramatsu, Kentaro Miuchi, and him, they will certainly be top100, maybe even more choppers... and I'm sure there are more chopper, Tomas is one of them who are found by fortunate.

He is #85 in WR under 18 and #604 in men's WR. He is moving forward fast, the month before he was at #727. There will be a new list soon....
I noticed that he often in the short game twiddles and uses his lp on FH over tha table. Look at 4:44 in his team match (Lithuania-Hungary) against Tamas Lakatos. He put a few balls into the net or too long with his inverted just before that. Still that is somewhat new to me :?:

noooo idea! looks like the lens of the joo, but there is no butterfly plug on the handle and the blade face is too small....the red looks like tenergy if the bit on the edge there is a red sponge....i have a sneaking suspicion he uses OX based on the way he twiddles and chops.....but i could be wrong

I watch this guy in the Safir open, a pure joy to watch. I do hope he makes it big time on the international stage.

Speedplay, I am little confused... Did you watch Mikutis or Kentaro Miuchi at Safir? I know Kentaro played Safir last year (a video from that can be found at Megaupload, link is availale in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13373).

Thomas is playing in Rotterdam, he just made it to round 2 of the pre-rounds by beating SZOCS Hunor ROU with 11-9 in the seventh :P . Next match is against a player from my home town, Mattias Karlsson (short pimples on FH). Please, let this match be filmed... I would love to see it.

Apaprently, he won the competition in Lima: http://www.ittf.com/_front_page/ittf_fu ... n_ID=2046&
I think he will continue to climb the ladder of world ranking :-)

It's a shame that only 1 match of Tomas was filmed :swear:. I really like how he plays.

Lovely player to watch - thx for the links. Hopefully he can make the grade - he would make a nice change from the usual suspects.
