I can't play sh properly anymore - the FH loop timing is completely different. I can BH hit/loop and chop both sides, but that's about it. As for results wise, it's too hard to tell as I don't know where I would have been if I had continued as a SH (I switched about 18 mths in due to BH/FH grip changing).

I've started playing less in the last few years, though my game has certainly improved up to around 6 months ago (which it's completely fallen off now due to injury). Previously it was 3 to 4 times a week. Right now you're lucky if it's once. Is it due to EJing? Maybe, maybe not. Around 24 to 30 mths ago I was pretty solid on what I actually used in matches, the EJing was just mucking around with other stuff, which I didn't do on leadup to tournaments.

It's more affected than most, but certainly not the worst. I think it's the hard, shiny topsheet plus the hard sponge that does it. Other Chinese type rubbers are either sticky enough to ignore it or pliable enough so it's not an issue.

Previously I was
1) Primary shot ie, FH loop -> FH rubber
2) Feel -> Blade
3) Secondary shot, BH loop -> BH rubber.
It's a bit hard to say, as there needs to be a certain synergy between the blade and each rubber. I'm not a believer of the 'unbalanced bat' thing where people say the FH needs to by synergistic with the BH rubber, but then, I'm not a chopper and my rubbers weigh roughly the same.
Right now I almost do it in reverse order, because I'm fixed on my BH rubber (T64).

Grip shifting. I used an extreme FH grip and an extreme BH grip. Couldn't change BH to FH.
