Serve away whoever is ready first! :Chop:

Playing someone in a different time zone (and a different hemisphere!) should be interesting!

Let's see what a USian can do

I'll serve up with a basic pendulum....see how you react....E!!!!

I am ready!

A little skip to my right, I take your pendulum and return it with a backhand flick, and give you E right back!

Come on, you can do better than that!

Oops for got to show the word structures...I was in a hurry when I posted the thread

OK, so here it is:

Oskar's word ?????????? (for Gamer)

Gamer's Word ???????E? (for Oskar)

No E, for Gamer, but there is an E for Oskar

So the score is 0-2.

If I've served out of turn, I'm sorry. I figured because the score is 2-0 that it was my turn to serve. Also, this word game only roughly simulates the actual game, so I thought it was okay to serve and keep the action going. I'll have a look at the rules again, but I'm sure Reborn will come in and illuminate us. Or am I facing a Yellow Card?

Edit: I've studied the rules and there is nothing there that suggests number of actual serves. It does say that any player can make as many guesses in one post as he/she likes, but this is discouraged. So, I think it's perfectly okay for either player to announce a serve and keep the action moving along. I suppose it's about keeping it entertaining. Good luck, The_Gamer!

Or in the absence of moderator, a player can always acknowledge correct and incorrect guess of his opponent. Then fill up the blank page for each correct guess. Reb can do catch up and acknowledge if the flow of the game is still correct.
Fight to the death!

Technically it was Gamer's turn to return Oskar's ball, and I think I did state somewhere each player shall play in turn, but given its good for the game to flow I'll allow a player to "show their hand" first and serve a new ball as long as they wait for their opponent to return it ;) So all good. And we are just ramping up in the game concept still, after all. So NO Yellow cards at this point

No D, for Gamer, but there is an R for Oskar

So the score is 0-4. Oskar has taken a dominant lead, but in many a game I have seen a player score 4 points in a row only to have the opponent do the same...so what's The Gamer got up his sleeve?

Just to show I'm ready and able ... and patient, I'll wait for THE GAMEr to serve his guess.

In the meantime ... :muscle:

Looks like Oskar is playing a tricky game this time around. Anti rubber? (Or did you leave one out in the sun?)

In that case, fast straight serves to the tricky side should do it. On 3rd ball "kill the game", as one coach so aptly put it. Go GAMEr! :punch:
