Good day to all!
So, as I promised to present to you an review of Neptune rubber with spong thickness of 0.7 mm. I played it for about a month. The main challenge was the Ukrainian regional league, the first round which ended 10/31/2015. I have to say - this is not an analogue of TSP Curl P1R, but very close to it. You can play in defence with this rubber as well as in the classics and to play in the attack, but first things first

Playing on the table

Playing on the table si control, the ball flies, lays down where necessary. With that you can adjust the length of that for me has always been a problem. This pips likes running with a hand and extremely fond of sudden movements. That is, if you want to give the ball a strong spin - it is necessary to hold the ball across the paddle, to do everything skillfully and competently. Then I can guarantee that the rubber will not fail. For me is also very important in my game is the float. The best way to do this element without sponge. Neptune on the sponge 0.7 also copes with this task. But it needs more work because by sponge ball can fly. It is necessary to do with feeling.

Choping

The main advantage of Neptune rubber is chop. But it should be noted immediately that the rubber requires cutting the ball. This is very important. On the first day of competition at me all took off. Then he began to cut the ball lower and do the wiring. Several times I returned almost hopeless balls. Under normal conditions, chop is lower with a good back rotation. However in the video look.

Hitting

Beat well as a control, it is not difficult to do. Although it is for me and the intermediate element, but it saved me a few times.

Verdict

So in the end we got a budget, control pips for classic defenders with the elements of attack. TTBrothers_ recommends!

Best regards

Hi Sirius!

Exciting first set. And what a final point in the last

I was surprised you could still loop so well at occasions with a 1.1mm inverted. Well played, good twiddling. It would be even better if you gained a little more consistency in your defence and if you stopped attacking his services ;-)

You're playing the BTY Defence Alpha blade, as so many other Ukrainian and Russian players. Elsewhere you don't see that blade often. Any idea why? It is such a huge oversized blade, must have limited manouvrability... Have you ever tried the JSH-blade, which is normally oversized  , great for attacking and good for producing fast & low deep chops...

This blade was very popular in our country. It's classic defence old school from USSR. And I have to say that Alpha is great blade for classic defence.

You're right. Because of large blage it has limited manouvrability and sometimes it's great problem. I didn't tried JSH blade but try to play matsushita pro model. It's has great control but also more speed. That's why I afraid that it would be fast for me. But after second tour of regional league I try it with current rubbers

Aha! I recognize that gym as the same location that Nikolay Telnoy plays in.

Excellent video and nice play Sirius! I too will be following your blog.

Another game in the day before. Here I had some problems with Neptune because of move wiring. The move was short an because of it a lot of balls fly out of the table.

Can you clarify what this means? "Move wiring."
