My new rubber. I've tried a lot. After Topenergy, apollo I, sun and moon pro this is a great rubber. Even with the poly ball. Faster than sun pro.

Strange that this rubber is not hyped.

How is it compared to H3 Neo and H3-50?

Only played with the TG2 neo. This is more a hybrid. Not as tacky but more speed.

Two brand new Big Dipper variations are now offered by Ukrainian tt-maximum: Big Dipper IV and Big Dipper Spin. Interestingly, I am not able to find either of them on aliexpress.
No info on the differences between the original Big Dipper and new rubbers as of now.

Big Dipper Spin is only shown in red and 38 deg: https://tt-maximum.com/shop/rubbers/yin ... escription

Big Dipper IV offers 3 hardness options - 38, 39, 40, both red and black. The black rubber has got an orange sponge, unlike the original blue one: https://tt-maximum.com/shop/rubbers/yin ... escription

The Yinhe website, in addition to Big Dipper IV (http://www.yinhe1986.cn/prod_view.aspx? ... d=t3:188:3), also features Big Dipper Pro (http://www.yinhe1986.cn/prod_view.aspx? ... d=t3:188:3) and Big Dipper Tour (http://www.yinhe1986.cn/prod_view.aspx? ... d=t3:188:3).
The description (in English), however, is similar among all three. :)

This is all quite new. Looks like Spin comes in shrink wrap (like a lot of Yinhe rubbers do) - the old Big Dipper didn't.

Wonder when Chinese outlets will have these available - probably XVT will get it before Eacheng. Anyone notice the missing corners? You wonder why DHS inspires so much copycattism... and you wonder what purpose it serves other than to give the rubber some sort of mystique. There isn't, after all, a "National Version" without missing corners. Or maybe there is??? Maybe that's what the Tour and Pro versions are - one will have ONE missing corner, the other will have all corners intact...

i had a big dipper that i used for 6 - 12 months, sitting in my closet for years. I just put it on my alc + limba blade and tried it, still plays great. Lots of spin, power and control, even though the tuner must be entirely gone by now. I like it better than 2 month old mx-p or mantra. I've ordered two more from aliexpress. Much better than Presto as well, harder sponge and way more spin. Big Dipper is awesome. It will be interesting to read reviews of these new versions. ps: I've read that Jupiter II is also awesome, but haven't tried it.

I've been trying to figure out what the difference is between Yinhe 9000D and Yinhe 9000E for years now.... As far as I can tell the blurbs (even in Chinese) are the same. Maybe I should use my phone's translator on them.

Went and had a look on AliExpress to see if anyone had the new Big Dippers in stock. No luck, yet. The old rubber's still around, this is the cheapest one at the moment ($13.41):

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2052869383.html

(Yes, an Eacheng.) Interestingly enough, the black sheet has blue sponge, the red has yellow sponge. Comes in three hardnesses (38, 39, 40, probably Tianjin degrees). There are some from other vendors, e.g.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32949651185.html

that have a green sticker implying it's used by some provincial team, and is "tuned" (isn't the regular stuff sans sticker tuned too?):

ITTF was informed about this abnormality. YINHE should set things right, we hope for.
