I asked her to look at her blade just two weeks ago when we were at a group practice session with my coach Jon Bosika.
She had Dawei 388 D or D1 OX red long pips on the backhand and Dawei 388-C1 black mid pips with thick (2.0 at least to my eye) red sponge on the forehand.
The blade is indeed very thick balsa core probably at least 10mm. I couldn't even recognize the brand from the handle lens logo and forgot to look closely at it. My impression was a Chinese brand, and it did not look like Dr N logo at all, but I was most interested in the forehand rubber.

Look at it again if you can, for 388 long pips clarification and the blade brand.

The blade brand is probably a Galaxy/Yinhe T9 with carbon on one side and a different slower side for long pips.

I will definitely check and actually ask her about the blade if I do get another chance, but not sure when that will be.
I wrote down at the time the exact rubber as to whether it was Dawei 388-D or 388-D1. But now have managed to lose the piece of paper. :(

Has anyone discovered which racket she uses?

The one I found most similar so far was the T9, but I did not see with FL handle(hers is ST and I could not see the carbon layer in hers)

it shouldnt be difficult to tell which blade is that for the experts of this forum i think...a very good pic...

to me it look either as a very thick 1ply balsa or hinoki...(balsa more probable...)

From the blade picture above with the black rubber logo, that looks like Dawei 388d-1 provincial.

My guess is Hinoki 1ply, alike the Kokutaku Specialist Hinoki, for example. The red one (the FB picture) does look like 388D-1, not 388D, the pips don't seem to be smooth. Sponge on the black side seems to be a custom one, pimple length is medium at best.

Really interesting player to watch and probably a good model for many clubs players who want to play close to table in attacking block and hit style

Pamela's backhand with the thick balsa blade + 388d1 seems to be more like a disruptive medium pip style i.e fast aggressive blocking, than typical LP defensive style.

On the forehand the use of 388c seems to cause her quite a few problems with her topspin drives hitting the net or going long due to its inherent low trajectory and spin. I wonder if her aggressive forehand style would be better suited to a spinny SP.

I have got different results using different inverted rubbers with a thick balsa blade.

The rubbers have already been put to rest. We know those.

Saviga V OX on the BH and 563 Medium Pips MAX on the Forehand.

The only mystery is the blade, which who knows. I asked the question several posts back and nobody seemed to know. Could be a custom balsa. I used to be Facebook friends with her and there was a few pics of her bat, still not sure. Hinoki is heavy, bouncy, fast, and hard to use OX pips with so I doubt it is Hinoki.

Incidentally I had a run-in with her at the Joola teams where the security guys were checking our tickets for the bundesliga game and she shoved her way past me trying to get in ahead because she couldn't wait her turn. Apparently she doesn't believe in the philosophy of waiting in line. She is kind of a rude pushy little thing which was a disappointment.
