Forget Huieson.. now there's a XVT!! Except this one is a "ZLC"... (Zylon? Really? )

(Looks like they're copying Sanwei's catalog.... )

You can get it in ST. Kinda tempted, but at 88 grams it's a little too porky for me.

Or what about this one???? Wow... Seems a shame to cover it up with rubber...

You wonder why they "highly recommend using table tennis Water Glue" for this blade. Would Elmer's dissolve the epoxy?

I suppose we can make an educated guess. You've got the Butterfly Innerforce blades, we know what those are like (or at least, we know what they're SUPPOSED to be like by reading Butterfly's literature), and then we have the older Tamca 5000 blades, we know what THOSE are supposedly like (which is why Butterfly invented the Innerforce blades). So now you're moving the cloth layer to the OUTSIDE, which now puts Tamca 5000 in between this and Innerforce.. It'll out-Tamca 5000 the Tamca 5000 blades and be the total opposite of what Butterfly was trying to achieve with the Innerforce blades... In any case, it'd only cost you $39.20 to find out, shipping is "free"..

Blade: Sanwei Fextra
FH: Sanwei Target National
BH: Palio AK47 Red
Don't the TT rules state that the outer layer has to be wood? Wouldn't that make this bat illegal for tournament play?

There's no such rule as far as I know. And this isn't the first blade like this I've seen mentioned. There's probably good reasons why it's not common.

My coach's Tibhar Black Carbon also has composite on the outside. No one ever mentioned anything about outer layer, paint, varnish etc...

Yeah, like removing your rubber will remove your carbon layers :headbang:

Probably why they suggest water glue...to be not too strong. :P

Blade: Darker Speed 90
FH: Hurricane 3
Just thought I'd let you all know that I have one of the Viscaria counterfeits made by Huieson and I like it more than the genuine Viscaria blade. Maybe I got lucky with a good one but I really like it. I put Hurricane on the FH and Rakza Z on the BH and it plays so nicely, brushes the ball really well, and gives good quality fast hits.
