Being only Dornenglanz ox player almost all my player's history tried Aggressor 1.3 on slow hard stiff custom blade.
I can say that it was very easy transition. Aggressor is realy spin insensitive like anti!

I had to play chop-blocks against loops and had to attack any underspin with ox. With Aggressor I can play soft blocks and push underspin just fine. With Aggressor I can consistently chop any spin.

I can say that Aggressor is much more forgiving then LP. You can play passively any ball and can attack any spin you want. With Aggressor you are not bound to play "reverse opponent spin" game and suffer from no spin anymore.

Well, there were problems during transition from LP.

1) Overweight. Usual ox oversized blades are not good with Aggressor.
2) Personal luck of SP skills. It is possible to play defensively with LP
technique. But Dornenglanz underspin lifting does not work.
Dornenglanz is grippier then Aggressor. Attack need completely different stroke.

I did not like Aggressor's weight .... and it di not suit me for attacking backspin,.... also , I don't like Aggressor's geometry,..however, when I play against Aggressor I must be careful about pushes on no spin balls as they fly downward dangerously,....

I just say Aggressor is not for me , but it is a great MP and durable ,.....

Tried Aggressor 1.3 on Matador Texa Balsa. Very good combination.
The control to play exactly into end-line is very nice. No problems with blocking short.

I played A. on slow but very low-throw custom blade and I had trouble with correct angles.
Matador has more dwell and Aggressor plays much better: better control, better roll.
The faster it plays the better is disturbing effect so faster blade is better.

I am sensitive to equipment changes and normally play slow blades but had no problems to play rated tournament just after 30 min warm-up with that combination.

Played KO Pro 1.3 two months. Decided to switch to Aggressor again on my typical defensive blade.

KO Pro is easier transition from LPs, but longer pips are dumpening incoming ball and makes our counter-attacks slower and with mushy feeling. Aggressor is less direct (catapult effect) in defense but is more direct and with more feedback in attack.

I wanted to switch from LPs BH because I had difficulties against pips-our mirror and against allround control players.
Aggressor is better against my difficulties and it is good enough against loopers.

Aggressor is not my cup of tea. Dr. Neubauer K.O. Pro is back.
1) While A. attacks are more powerful then KOpro's they being blocked easily.
Sinking effect of 1.3 rubber on defensive blade does not bother anybody.
2) Aggressor is harder to successfully attack serves and short pushes. Traectory is too flat and ball fly over table.
3) Aggressor is very difficult to chop with. I am talking about height control.
4) Aggressor can perform chop-block but it does not create enough variations to default pressed block.
5) Rolling chopped balls are easy to control but I personally cannot force win against defender. So this A. advantage is not big enough to matter.

So major control disadvantage in defense does not compensated with minor offensive advantages.

Interesting journey there Omut. I am thinking of changing from Keiler to maybe KO Pro to get better ability to chop and chop block and not just attack.

Which is heavier Aggressor 1.3 or KO Pro 1.3 ?

Both have identical heavy sponge. Aggressor is a bit heavier. Difference is not noticeable.

Before giving up on Aggressor you might want to try it in OX. Its sponge can be separated using heat; either from a steam iron or boiling water (search this site for the specifics of each technique). I find aggressor OX to be excellent for chopping. Closer to the table, it plays like the ultimate attacking LP. Opponents universally hate it for its off-speed balls that slow unexpectedly en route.

I played Dornenglanz ox and once tried Sternenfall ox.
The feel difference was comparable to the feel of KO Pro 1.3 and Aggressor 1.3.

I personally prefer softer pips on my BH. Softer pips are much better in short game.

IMO Aggressor can be good on FH side of a push-blocker's game. Aggressor is too aggressive for my BH.

@Omut "IMO Aggressor can be good on FH side of a push-blocker's game" -> I'm playing Aggressor 1.3 on FH side (BH Dornenglanz ox / BTY Apolonia) and it has to be said that in the context to the plastic ball it seems to be the right answer playing against aggressive opponents. You can play versatile effortless in terms of velocity on a scale from slow to fast. Your opponent doesn´t really knows what's going on and this should be imho the most important advantage.
