What about raccoons? Have you ever seen a pet raccoon? I know a girl who is totally obsessed with raccoons!

That girl is a keeper! Raccoons would make an awesome pet, I think. They probably would make a mess in the house, though, given how good they are with opening things etc. Smart too.

I thought that given pgpg's avatar, he might like this picture of a wolf caught by a photo trap. Isn't it awesome?

It is - wolf looks a bit cross-eyed, though (unless all of them are, not an expert). Very serious, too.

After the today's experience, I think it is the monkey. I was walking down a track today and 5 monkeys just randomly walked past me. I didn't know whether to be worried or not. I decided to not look them in the eye and just continue walking.

How is LL Beary? Does he go along well with the young paddlers?

The Bear is in Australia atm. I'm considering collecting him at the Aus Open, but I don't know if I can stand him here for a year. He has annoying habits and he's crazy demanding.

Backhand block is a painful process.

Please critique my feeding. Short ball to the backhand long ball to the forehand.

Hahaha - don't tell me you are using the animal popcorn meme because you don't want us to criticize you? You can handle it.

More seriously, I try to get people to snap more directly into the ball with their forearm when they make contact so that they can give the ball direction and power simultaneously. Also avoids some of the side effects of swinging shallow. But maybe your stroke would look better from the front than I realize.

And yes, I am jealous. I think I will take multiball feeding from popcorn eating animals. I am that desperate.

Not much improvement but I have decided to take the painful step of pretending to hit the ball more like Ma Long close to the table. Unfortunately, my camera work yesterday was mostly terrible and I didn't have a lot of time to try stuff.

Snapping on blocking is something I could work on but I was trying to be more passive as it was more the other guy's drill. I was watching Ma Long do some blocking and his racket was a little up like mine too, not as much tho. Interesting either way.

The video review of my practice was pretty demoralizing. There's a lot more edited out of course. For some reason I am not getting low enough again. I just did some training and used the cell phone real time recording to review and fix issues. That's the nice thing about actually knowing what it should look like - can correct it yourself fairly quickly and make it better.

I also realize that a backhand moving to my backhand side is a pretty big hole in my game, but also one I've identified and am working on. RIGHT FOOT FIRST AND KEEP LOW.

I'd just serve side spin deep pendulum to myself if I wanted to beat myself...
