So I, raconteur extraordinaire, was regaling my rapt audience with tales of classic legend. Only one or two were actually anti my delivery and word play. Some tales I teased out to be just so long with a lot of extra spin compared to the original, while others I compressed to be only half as long as tradition dictates. In my defence, the gig only had until closing time.

Reminds me somehow of this:

And the band played Waltzing Matilda
And the audience forgot about me
So amidst all the tears, flag waving and cheers
I went to the loo for a pee.

How well I remember that terrible day
How my blood boiled much hotter than water
For up to that time I'd been well on me way
To wooing the publican's daughter.

I was hoping it would remind you of a Barna Classic!

We were tensa than a stack of new rubber, I tell you we were spoiling for some horrorshow violent action. After we were able to hammer out all the problems with that mopha bombard, even with our lack of talent we were able to fire it. When its ammo was at its apex, it really looked like a ufo. Really rex when it hits. Feeling really osculent, but we're raiders for the army so none of those shenanigans. We did it so far mostly by the numbers. It's da bomb.

This was one hell of a spell of chaotic weather. Was it the flap of a wing in China or Japan that catapulted the really large storm surge in magnitude - enough to reveal submerged continents of yore, trying to remain impartial, but would prefer Lemuria rising from the depths myself, but other fabled lands available on request? Some pan-Asia orthodox stayer of a butterfly perhaps being the driver?

Week by week I'm just having a lark going through all those lovely names of the branded modells (sic) and incorporating them into my narrative somewhat cryptically.

For this one I thought the original reference too opaque so referred back to it in the culmination to make the point.

Sometimes if you have to explain it it is no fun :)

I suppose if you live in the fringes of the eastern nether regions of the great Northern continent you'd be very Tensor indeed...

Translation:
I cast my eyes over the latest LARC, choose a brand of rubber and attempt to weave either the exact modells (sic, this is how it is spelt on the LARC!) name or a reasonable facsimile thereof into an at least semi coherent couple of sentences with varying degrees of success. Sometimes I also get the brand in as well. More recently I have been doing it alphabetically by brand.

Translation:
The opening sentence and a half refers to weather systems being chaotic, that small changes in initial conditions can result in rather large consequences, usually stated as something like "a butterfly flaps its wings in China and a hurricane occurs in America". I thought that this was a little too oblique so added the bit directly referring to a butterfly towards the end - hence Butterfly the brand from Japan but might have stuff from China. The rest has Catapult, Largestorm, Magnitude, Impartial, Lemuria, Pan Asia, Orthodox, Driver as modell (I'm feeling sic (sic) again) names.

Now you have the key to this slightly misnamed thread. It was actually fun providing that, contrary to the previous statement.

Yeah, I figured out the part about Hurricane Dorian being caused by Butterfly wings flapping somewhere.. It did take me a few minutes, though...

I was still striving to follow the vapour trail despite being rapt in kinesis tape.

Hexa(podia) was the key concept even without dealing with the wrath of khan following his dismal dismissal.

Cheap at half the price!

Latest news is he's getting set to fire the folks at the National Weather Bureau who contradicted him...
