I had a problem when I beat one guy in our league. He was so angry and wanted to see my racket afterwards. I showed my racket but he wanted to take it and scrub the ball to my detecs. I didnt let him do that beacuse I hate when people are bending pimples. Now he is saying I had used unleagal pimples. So how do you guys do? Do you let them take your racket and scrubb the ball on it?

If there is any sort of official in charge of the league, let that person sort it out. Otherwise, you don't have to let them do a darn thing.

I agree... it's not for him to decide, and he's got no rights at all after the match is finished!

What about before the match? Is it limited to "look but not touch" inspection?

Is it somewhere in the rules that opponent can't drag the ball across my pips to see how grippy they are? I'm not sure I understand 'you can not bend my pips' argument here, they are impacted much more during regular play.

Why is that you who has to prove that the pips are legal (provided they are on the current LARC)? Isn't that your opponent who has to prove if they suspect that the pips are illegal?

Yes, the burden of proof should be on him, not you, assuming your rubber is on the LARC. Supposing he does rub the ball on the pips. What's he going to prove by doing so? What does he do if it "feels too slick" to him? (I'm sure Igor will come up with some silly test one can do after a game, but that's just Igor.. )

How can you prove your pips are illegal?

It is the same story .

How can you prove they legally boosted the rubber?

How can you prove they illegally boosted the rubber?

This is a cul- de- sac .  . better laugh.... in the end , this is the amateur world mate .

Some people take responsibility for what happens, some people are blamers.

"The other guy was just too good on the day."

"It was the equipment that beat me. It must have been illegal for that to happen."

You tell me which statement was the blamer and which one was taking responsibility.

For "equipment" you could substitute either lower friction pimples out (straight from the packet, specially treated or just played with and older through wear and tear) or boosted pimples in (boosted by manufacturer v boosted by player).

Not a chance. Happy to let an official take it out of my hands but not a player.

If Racket Control at the World Champs can't prove that Ma Long is doping his bat, what chance do you have?

BE HAPPY.
Live a secured life, my dear Little Fellow..
Only those boasted olympians with their exclusive factory tuned staff will incur some troubles with the novelty Stratio@ oil-finder. 3,900 USD customized kit, under ITTF request , only PC WiFi needed.
It would be the end of Asians reignance., I guess.

So in the real life is impossible to say this is leagal or unleagal rubber, no matter are you scrubbing it or not. Thats why I dont undestand people who take your racket and start brushing by ball or fingers your rubber.
