Why you like EU more than ax as forehand rubber?
Look below for my comparative scoring of these SPs in my post dated Mar 17, 2019. SPAx scored near the bottom in most of my assessments.

I'm playing with Joola EU 1.8 in forehand, but now it is only manufactured in 2.0 or max.
I'm looking for a rubber in 1.8 that is the closest thing to the Joola EU,
any advice?

I played with EU some years ago and never could buy a 1.8mm sheet
Rakza po is available on 1.8mm only in the pack but never have seen a 1.8mm on stores

Victas VO > 102 1.8mm is very close to Joola EU. If EU ever became unavailable I'd play with VO > 102.

Victas VO > 102 1.8mm is very close to Joola EU. If EU ever became unavailable I'd play with VO > 102.


I think EU flathitting are more flat than 102

tanks nathanso, I used the v> 102 and I like it a lot, if I don't find another alternative I will return to it.

I think 102 has a higher aec than EU and worn out102 sheets wont be playable again with boosting

Sponges from softest to hardest: HP+, JOOLA EU, Spinpips RED. Same ordering for the topsheets. The gap between HP+ and JOOLA EU is much larger than the gap between JOOLA EU and Spinpips RED, i.e. HP+ is really soft!

I don't have my sheet of Waran anymore so can't include that in the comparison.



Whats the diffrence between tango ultra and express? How old is tango compared to express?

On a rainy week with 90% humidity in my local TT club, I learned that JOOLA Express Ultra loses all grip, making it unusable in these conditions.

Express topsheets is more a plastic than rubber

Unfortunately, just about all rubbers loose grip in these conditions. Keep a clean towel nearby and pat the pips at every chance.

This makes sense. When I switched to Super SpinPips it was gripping normally, as was a sheet of Stiga DNA (inverted) I had on hand.
