Anyone know which is the OX Long Pips rubber with greater distortion to play close the table, DM Kamikaze or some other like the TSP Curl p-3 Alpha R?

Thanks

Tibhar D'Tecs is highly disruptive for a close to the table game, closely followed by Joola Badman, Spinlord Dorneglanz and Giant dragon Talon.

I actually use GD Talon NT OX, a lot of more control than DMS LSD, I feel LSD too fast without any braking effect.

Tried quite a few premium LP rubbers (including the above mentioned TSP Curl p-3 Alpha R), but for me nothing has come close to the Grass d'tecs OX on a nice hard carbon blade (medium speed instead of OFF to keep it usable).

Haven't tried GD Talon yet bit I heard it's kinda on par.

However, distortion is a subjective term,...many can disagree,.....

I used Snowflake for a long time with the old ball and liked it a lot, but has anyone tried it (for at-the-table play) with the new ball?

What do you mean by distortion exactly? Ball ‘flutter’ is hardly a thing these days with the current ball. P3aR is slow with not much friction and provides good reversal which makes it good for serve receive and blocking. Not so good for attacking. Excellent for pushing but cannot generate much spin when chopping.

Distortion? I thought the proper (at least at this time) term was "disruption".

1+ for D.tecs

Dawei 388D is another, I've played with, and found to have quite a bit of weirdness .. Plenty of weird corkscrew balls, wobbles, funky trajectories, and plain ol' reversal ..

However, D.tecs has that certain braking-effect, which I haven't found in any other LP ... Really messes with the opponents timing..

Cloud&Fog is the best replica of DTecs, much cheaper one.

/Be happy/

Can anyone else concur that C&F is like DTECS? First I've seen this comparison. I only ever read posts about Dragon Talon being like DTECS.

Consider the source, and take it with a grain of salt.
