Yeah I was hoping and still hoping for that to happen ! Would be really cool.

Does anybody have any idea of how Storkraft is supposed to be different from Scandal?

Well, it has a slower sponge for sure and a thinner one for sure. So in theory you'll get even more spin reversal because of the thin sponge.

Received mine today ! Will test it tomorrow.

All I can say is that the surface is very slick, but not like the Scandal, nor the Vortex. It seems to be a new combination of rubber (or perhaps a topsheet like a Transformer or Diabolic ? Can't tell because I haven't tried them) ? The pimples are very very long, a little bit longer than the Scandal who has already long pimples...

It comes with a yellow sponge, the same you can buy for the Vortex (from Noppen Test) They say it's a little bit faster than the red one but still slow. Maybe the perfect compromise ?

Topsheet is very thin and harder definitely harder than the Vortex. It's a little bit transparent, you can see the pimples behind the topsheet. I can roll the vortex like a tube without any damage but I won't take the risk to do it on the Super Glanti.

Very intriguing rubber ! I can't wait to test it tomorrow :D

Today I tried a friends bat with this anti in 0.8 mm on it. It was a Palio TCT-blade (carbon and titanium), clearly faster than Deluxe Carbon. The anti worked great on this blade (most antis do not work well on this blade), very low blocks with massive spin reversal.
This anti has a yellow sponge, rather similar to the red sponge that comes with Vortex (but this yellow is a little more dense with a little more speed). So in 0.8 on this fast wood the aggressive pushing against pushes was very leathal. Fast and low and with lots of spin left :).

I waited about one minute before I ordered two sheets of my own...

A little recap about the SG in 0.8mm

I played it first on the Matador, spin reversal was great, it was clearly faster than the Scandal in 0.9, the ABS 2 in 2.1mm and the Vortex in 1.2mm -> Slower to fastest: Vortex 1.2 Red sponge < Scandal 0.9 < ABS 2 2.1 < SG 0.8mm
Because of the speed the push with this anti were so uncomfortable for the opponent. A lot more than the Vortex who only has a good spin reversal and very short block.
The SG has disturbing trajectory, with low block.
My only concern at the moment is that I didn't faced a hard looper with a lot of power and speed. I'm assuming the block will be harder to do against them, not like the Vortex where everything was "easy".
So I changed it on a little slower blade: osp immune Pushblocker carbon.
But again I didn't faced a hard looper so I can't tell about that at the moment.

Also the third ball attack when you're serving (especially services with side spin and a little bit of backspin) is so dangerous if the opponent choose to only push and not attack your service ! You can just push hard and the ball will return with a very weird trajectory.

I thought he used 0.8 Störkraft.

Well he updated his profile on Noppen Test, now it's bh: Störkraft 0.8mm/Super Glanti 1.2mm :)

From my blog:

Yesterday I had my first session with Barna Original Glanti on Deluxe Carbon. I recieved it the day before and then had a brief with with it with a friend (the one who beat Aida) who tried his sheets in 0.8 on Barna Victory and a 1.2 mm on Palio TCT. He had also tested a 0.8 on a Barna Triumph before but that did not work as well as the others.

So, on Deluxe a 0.8 feels similar to a 1.2 mm Diabolic ES in terms of speed. But OG has a lower throw and an even more frictionless surface, making blocks very leathal. The back spin is clearly better than with Diabolic or Reflection. The sponge is a yellow, very similar to the Vortex-sponge (red) but a little harder and faster. The top sheet is very thin and very hard so the pips are clearly visable through the playing side of the anti. The over all feeling is very similar to Diabolic but perhaps a little harder.

So most strokes can be done the same way but the surface is more slippery so you have to be even more cafeful when attacking back spin and be sure to opend the bat when blocking.

When we compared the different setups we felt that Barna Victory with 0.8 gave the best back spin on blocks (we did not try 1.2 mm. on that blade). This blade is clearly slower than Deluxe, more like a better feeling Revolution (perhaps even slower) with better ability to loop. If you do not need a lot of speed on your FH this is a great blade for anti-blocking with nice control and low blocks that can be kept very short.

The TCT with 1.2 mm and Deluxe with 0.8 mm gave about the same back spin on blocks, a little less than with Victory. But for me, these blades are better for my FH game and you may more easily put a some more preassure on your opponent with the anti when attacking back spin and adding speed in blocks.

My conclusion is that I stay with Deluxe and 0.8 OG this weekend for my league matches. But I have ordered a 1.2 mm to put on a TCT blade, so as soon as I got it in the middle of next week I will probably start using the TCT as my main blade. The weekend 3 weeks away the league is wrapping up and I hope I will be ready to use the TCT for the first time then. But we'll see :).

Is the 1.2mm version slower than the Scandal in 0.9mm ?

I would guess so. But a close call.

@Def-attack: thanks for the videos!
Can you compare the Super Glanti to ABS2?

They are very different. OG feels like Diabolic ES, a little harder perhaps (at least in 0.8 mm). OG has better spin reversal than Diabolic and lower throw. With Stiga balls ABS2 has clearly less spin reversal than OG and is also faster and with higher arc on blocks. But ABS2 is good for attacks against back spin. OG is ok for that but since it is very slippery you need to be cautious with bat angle etc. Hard attacks with little spin is tricky to handle with a thin OG (like with most antis).
