I just looked through all the specs... and still have no clue what S & B stand for. Both rubbers seem way too similar and there is just too much "technical" info provided. I think they are saying S is for choppers while B is more of an all-around focused rubber but I could be wrong.

This is a marketing failure in my books |(

I look forward to seeing what people think when they try it. As stated above the marketing is terrible lol

So essentially in OX they're the exact same. They do state as thin and long as the rules allow though which is interesting. But they don't say anything about the friction. Just hard topsheet.

This sort of reminds me of the Stiga Horizontal/Vertical 20/55 marketing where it's the same topsheet but with different orientations & sponge thicknesses, though they've omitted the orientation change.

To my understanding, a brief overview would be:
- "hard" topsheet (does that mean stiff pips? That'd be surprising)
- Max length pips
- Both have hard sponges, but S (45*) is a little softer than B (48*)
- Even though they're hard, the sponges purportedly have good dampening effects (inelastic?)
- S is designed for a more traditional chopping game (very good at pushing & chopping), B is designed for disruption & close-to-the-table work

Maybe this is Butterfly's entry for long pips with the plastic ball? Outside of choppers who have been using FLII or FLIII for years, I don't see many choppers using Butterfly's long pips. I wonder if this is for choppers who are sponsored by Butterfly, but don't want to use FLII/FLIII. The harder sponge might make it more similar to something like P1-r, but it's impossible to say without having a sheet to compare.

God knows what S & B actually stand for. Could mean something in Japanese or could just be nonsense!

Thanks for the review! I would love to see some matches from you too. Any way I can find vids of you playing on YouTube?
EDIT: Sorry shame on me. Just seen who you're. Had no idea you played with LPs on BH

Also how do you compare these LPs to FL2? The sponges are supposedly harder than FL2 which is supposedly a lot harder than FL3

Hi, Galia

Greetings from Volga River.
Russian female cadet champion currently using Dornenglantz Ox pips in red.
Impressive playing skills, indeed.

Be happy.

Thanks for your Review Galia, I guess you don't know how to make chop-block close to the table, and for people here it's very important to know how goes Illius B using chop block close to the table.

Greetings from Blanes (Girona)
