Looking for a good alternative blade for this classic design. I remember that Dan Seemiller used this blade for a long time. Unfortunately, the new Grubba seems to play nothing like the original, and is smaller. Thanks!

Was looking at Grubba all+ alternatives a while back and the only thing I found was Neottec Gamma all+,never tried it but reviews/blade composition were favourable in comparison to Grubba

I use the new grubba and find it ok and im after the old style one with the thinner handle.
I had 4 in the past but want to revisit.
Can you not source an old one from e bay.
They come up now and again and sell for about $40

Good idea, thanks. I don’t use eBay a lot, so I’m not real familiar with it.
Do you think there is quite a bit of difference in the newer and older version? The original had a larger head, if I recall correctly.

Its agaes since i used the old blade but i really liked the small handle and the feel of the blade.
i then moved onto the grubba pro and then donic defplay as i started to block at the table.
i then realised that i get better results when i chop so moved back to a faster blade.
i dont think the grubba was oversized mind.the grubba pro blade is oversized and i had a few of those.i cut them down .
the pro was an all minus blade.normal grubba is all plus
