Guys,

I've been playing with grass ox from a friend for fun. And it's the first long pimple I can control. I've tried at least 6 others from various brands. And found it hard to land balls.

But with grass I can almost use ABS stroke with less force. I find that strange because everybody sais Grass is difficult to play with.

I am dablling with Long pips because I think the attacking possebilties are greater then with anti.

Are there people out there with similar experience?

Cheers
Pieter

Is it Grass Dtecs or the regular Grass? Perhaps the blade that it's on is making it more controllable?

It's a red Dtecs OX on a matador texa carbon by dr.neubauer. FH is a Rakza Z 2mm black.

Glued with revolution Nr3. No gluesheet.

Carels, I love LP OX :* & have tried just about everyone that has been released & like you Dtecs is brilliant for me! :*:
When the green version became available, I gave it a try thinking Grass, green… “Green Grass” :^)
But I found the green rubber to be slightly slower which gives me a bit better control, love my Dtecs  8)

Thanks I'll keep it in mind if I do decide to stick with it. For now I'll keep playing ABS 3 for the rest of the season

Been doing some more fooling around and i noticed I get a lot more balls from oponents that pop up high and I can easily kill. With anti they dump more balls in the net. But overall I get less free points with it.

Other people with similar experience?

I think that sounds reasonable. Slight variation in returns with Dtecs produces different amounts of backspin, making it much harder for your opponents to judge the amount of spin.
