Rokphish, I think you missed a pair of wood there in Maze. Maze is 5 wood + 2 Arylate-Carbon. There are only 3 woods mentioned above. A typo maybe?

Korbel, Adolescen, BTY Zhang Yining (allwood), Primorac OFF- and Galaxy M-4:

Limba+Limba+Ayous+Limba+Limba

Stiga Allround Evolution, Allround Classic and Energy Wood:

Limba+Ayous+Ayous+Ayous+Limba

Yasaka Extra I don't know the outer plies, but its core is Ayous and 2º/4º layers is Limba.

Best regards,

Regarding Yasaka Extra, I believe it's anegre (spelling?) as outer-ply.

Not sure there is a huge difference in the materials themselves, but the Xiom Control is advertised as having aramid carbon versus arylate carbon. Not sure if it warrants a change though.

Absolutley GREAT post/topic. :D

Request 729 Bomb blade composition. Here is what I know:

? - ? - Balsa - Cork - Balsa - ? - ?

Notes from Web: "Outer ply is of very thin and very hard wood" ; "729 BOMB uses a gradation of ply’s the outer being hard to medium to balsa with a cork core"

Off topic: If anyone knows where one can find a ST handle 729 Bomb that will ship to USA, please PM
